who is Emma?
I am a 27 year-old creative who - after many years of fumbling in the corporate world - has recently realized that it's not a crime to follow one's passion.
I was born in Hungary, currently live in Austria, and I'm overall just incredibly grateful for the hand I've been dealt by life. I have two cats, Sisi Maomao and Marceline, and a loving partner, Wynter who deserves the moon and the stars.
why is Emma?
I created "emma's noggin", in hopes of reuniting myself with my past hopes and dreams. In hopes that it's not too late to do good by little Emma.
For about ten years of my life, I introduced myself as a writer. For about five, as a crochet artist and pattern designer. And for the most recent past five years, I've been introducing myself as a digital artist.
Truthfully, I've never for a moment stopped creating. Exploring different ways I can bring ideas to life. And finally I've decided not to apologize for it.
where is Emma going?
As I reintroduce myself to creativity, I see how many of us are walking in the same shoes. Born to be creative, ultimately chose to pursue other more "lucrative" avenues, only to circle right back to the beginning. A place where everything was so simple and bountiful.
Emma's noggin serves - for me, and for my audience - as a window into that past worldview. It serves as hope, that it's still out there and easily accessible. In such dark times like we're living, I find it more important than ever to keep these mirrors into a better dimension around us.
In the future, Emma's noggin is only going to grow stronger. There's no doubt in my mind. But no spoilers here ;)
